Story: The Beginning of The Wizard of OZ
Summary: The story takes Dorothy from her aunt and uncle's farm in Kansas on an epic adventure in the land of Oz in which she meets her three companions and they defeat the Wicked Witch of the West.

The Scarecrow needs a brain
Soon Dorothy meets the Scarecrow. <break time="1s"/> He's in need of a brain. <break time="2s"/> They think the Wizard may be able to help both of them so they decide to travel together. <break time="2s"/>

The Tin Man needs a heart
Not long after, they come across a tin woodsman. <break time="2s"/> He needs a heart and decides to join the others in search of the Wizard. <break time="2s"/>
Page: 19 The Cowardly Lion (video)
Dorothy bravely defends her new friends from a lion attack. <break time="2s"/> But she discovers that the bully is really a coward in need of courage. <break time="5s"/> They generously invite the lion to join them in their quest.

With the addition of the Cowardly Lion, Dorothy's team is complete. They're off to see the Wizard.
